Qualifications

Educated to degree standard in an Engineering Discipline

Core Skills

•    Knowledge and experience of asset and work management business processes.

•    Strong interest in IT and how it can be used to improve business performance.

•    Strong written and verbal communication skills, aptitude for problem solving

•    Knowledge and experience of working with EAM or ERP systems within a business

•    Knowledge or experience of  mobile solutions

•    Understanding of asset and Maintenance methodologies
  
Experience

1. At least 2 years of working within utilities, transport or similar asset intensive industry.
2. IT qualifications or undertaken IT/Computer Science modules within degree
   
3. Experience of working on IT projects or other project environments.
4. Experience of information management/management reporting
   

Job Description

The role requires engineers with experience of working operationally in the utilities, transport or similar industry with a significant asset base,

We are seeking engineers who are interested in how IT can enable business improvement for an organisation. The individual will be expected to apply their business experience and to work on projects with clients to deliver improvements and benefits. Initial focus will be working on Enterprise Asset Management and Mobility projects across our client base.

Support will be provided through training, and on-job work experience to develope consulting skills and subject matter expertise. As a successful growing company there are many opportunities to gain experience and subject matter expertise across a range of business areas and IT solutions.

•    Requirements capture and analysis.

•    Benefit identification and justification.

•    Solution design.

•    Specification of product customisations.

•    Specification of report and management information requirements.

•    Specification of data requirements.

•    Configuration and Build.

•    Testing, Training.

•    Go live, Embedding activities past go live.Knowledge transfer.
