Technical Architect We are looking to recruit a technical architect to join our growing business. The role presents exciting opportunities for an individual in the areas of integration, enterprises systems and mobility.
This lead technical role requires you to be provide infrastructure design, planning, sizing, and operational advice to our clients during the implementation of our products and projects.
You will be required to take the lead during the crucial architecture planning and implementation stages of the project.

The role requires working both at our offices (Letchworth, Dublin and Belfast) and also on clients sites throughout the UK and the Republic of Ireland, therefore you must be prepared to travel and work away from home.
Experience
- 4 years+ experience with technical implementation projects, covering planning and scoping, design, build and implementation phases – essential
- Producing technical documentation (specifications) – essential
- Proven understanding of several of the following technologies: RDBMS, Operating Systems, Web Technologies, networking and communications – essential
- Team leading – preferred
Skills and Knowledge
- Degree in IT related discipline - essential
- Strong verbal and written communication skills - essential
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills - essential
- Understanding of the solution development lifecycle - essential
- Highly motivated, enjoys a challenge and works well within a team - essential
- Knowledge of integration/messaging technologies or mobile field working solutions would be an advantage.
- Proven technical skills with respect to network infrastructure and communications (accreditations beneficial)
- Knowledge of device/client management (both windows XP & Windows Mobile)
- Solid understanding of managing remote systems (e.g. Citrix and Microsoft Remote Desktop)
- Knowledge of Windows Server management, updates and security (Microsoft accreditation beneficial)
- Knowledge of Enterprise class storage and data management technologies
- Ability to define and document a comprehensive technical architecture specification
- Ability to communicate with client business and technical resources at a senior level
