AMT-SYBEX is delighted to announce its membership of Smart Grid GB, a not-for-profit membership organisation for stakeholders associated with the smart grid development in Britain.

Smart Grid GB provides OFGEM and DECC (Department of Energy and Climate Change) with an industry view of what the smart grid might look like and how that will be achieved. Andy Hamlyn, Deputy Group CEO, commented “We’re already working with UK Power Networks on the Smarter Network Storage scheme to explore the viability of battery storage as an alternative to network reinforcement. Joining Smart Grid GB highlights our growing commitment to Future Networks and will help us ensure that our Affinity Suite of products are fit for purpose for future demand requirements.”
