18/08/2008 - REBECCA ROMERO makes Olympic History and will speak at AMT-SYBEX 11th Annual Executive Brief
Rebecca Romero has made Olympic History in Beijing and is to speak at AMT-SYBEX 11th Annual Executive Brief in September.
Rebecca has a unique CV within the sporting world and can now add the Olympic gold to her collection from major international events. Whilst competing as a Rower, she has achieved great successes by becoming a World Champion and an Olympic Silver medallist. She has moved on to Cycling as a sport, and after winning a silver medal in the 2007 World Championships, she went on to become a double World Champion at the 2008 championships in Manchester. She is now in Beijing with the British Team and has become the second athlete in summer Olympic Games history to win medals in different sports. Rebecca produced an outstanding ride and claimed the woman's individual pursuit gold in Beijing on Sunday 17th August.
