Affinity Marketflow, AMT-SYBEX’s dataflow management solution has been chosen by Thames Water to manage its Wholesale and Retail interaction with MOSL’s Central Market Operating System (CMOS).
Water and sewerage services in England will be opened up to competition for non-household customers beginning in April 2017. To enable switching customer data will need to be shared between all market participants through CMOS. For Thames Water, our Marketflow product will manage the flow of data to and from the CMOS thereby enabling customer switching.
It is hoped that the new water market will offer choice to customers by allowing them to switch their water and sewerage supplier more easily. The aim is to encourage innovation, efficiency, resilience and sustainability that will benefit both water operators and customers.
Marketflow is currently supporting over 35 million electricity and gas customers, underpinning 85% of the UK gas market and 100% of the Irish gas market. A powerful industry dataflow management solution, Marketflow uses centralised, flexible data catalogues to organise, validate and orchestrate data flow.
