The role of the Implementation Consultant will involve implementing AMT-SYBEX’s Leasepoint product in a number of new and existing clients. They will be involved in projects from the initial definition of the scope right through to go-live and post implementation support.

Ideal candidate will possess industry experience (Aviation), excellent quantitative and analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, strong MS Office Suite, self-motivated, excellent communicator. Experience in methodologies such as Prince, AIM, ITIL, of implementing software products from planning right through to go-live is also desirable.

Technical Delivery Lead

We are looking for an enthusiastic Technical Delivery Lead to join our Technical Delivery team. Responsible for the technical delivery of customer implementation projects, you will manage all technical aspects of the project to ensure successful delivery via our operational delivery teams to our customers.

Key to making a success of this role will be your ability to use your initiative and think outside the box.

Reporting to the Programme Manager, the role responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for ensuring the development and test teams understand the customer requirements and how those requirements will be met by the proposed technical solution;
  • Creation and agreement of project schedule for the phases and activities under your control;
  • Responsible for ensuring the technical delivery from the development and test teams, is in line with the project schedule;
    • Review progress of the development and test teams;
    • Report to the customer account manager on progress;
    • Liaise with the customer or account manager to discuss issues;
  • Responsible for ensuring the technical delivery meets expected company standards (e.g. technical development standards and documentation standards);
  • Liaison between the project Solution Architect, technical teams and any third party vendors;
  • Review technical specifications and clarify/address queries from the team;
  • Provide timely and accurate project status reports;
  • Creation of communication plans, ensuring appropriate information is exchanged and controlled among all stakeholders;
  • Accountable for the management and reporting of any delivery risk and issues;

.Net Support Developer

Our GeoField product, developed by our Sigma Seven team in Edinburgh, is relied upon daily by thousands of field workers at leading organisations such as ScottishPower, Wales and West Utilities, Scottish Water, SEPA and SGN.

We have an opening for a .Net Support Developer role and are looking for an enthusiastic individual for this challenging position as part of our Support team. AMT-SYBEX provide support services to our GeoField customers, and this role will form a key part in the delivery of these services.

The working week will consist of 37.5 hours Monday to Friday. You will be required to cover out of hours weekday and weekend on-call shifts from time to time.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Provide technical 2nd and 3rd line support to customers
  • Respond to support calls as assigned within Service Level Agreements; ensuring incidents are quickly and accurately logged, closed and analysed to prevent future occurrences, and that incident resolution priorities are met;
  • Maintain an understanding of the internal escalation process;
  • Ability to work under own initiative, manage own time and work to deadlines;
  • Fault analysis/Debugging skills;
  • Provide support for the applications including its users and associated services and configurations;
  • Able to troubleshoot hardware/software/network issues.

Essential skills include:

  • 1+ years of commercial experience in technical 2nd and 3rd line support
  • Demonstrable experience in .NET 4.0, C#;
  • Experience of working in a technical support environment, including liaison with customers
